Forget the stuffy, “don’t get too close” art galleries of school trips. We found a spot in Karen that’s serving major creative energy, and your feed is about to thank you.
Painting at U&M Gallery (Usanii Mashariki Gallery) in Karen, hidden inside The Waterfront Mall; was such a wholesome experience. The aesthetic here is unreal: contemporary pieces and local crafts that are totally gram-worthy, all set up more like an “inspirational stroll” than a silent museum. The staff were honestly so warm; we even broke a bottle and they told us not to pay for it. Since it was for charity, we still bought another one.
